The Instagram account textsfromyourexistentialst has been pretending to be a small business selling art prints. I reached out to them from the email listed in their bio, [email protected] on January 30th, 2022. April Henry replied quickly with price and size information and also said shipping was free in the US. Once I said what prints I wanted she said she was, "so excited and can't wait for you to have these" She requested the $180 payment via the app Cashapp and emailed saying, "will have these in the mail tmrw!" I emailed back requesting a tracking number and/or an estimated arrival date. No reply. I sent several follow up emails and DMs on Instagram. On February 23rd I got the first communication since I sent the money via Instagram DM. She said they were sent. I asked again, and she said the prints were shipped. Again no tracking number. I have since been looking at their Instagram comments and there are many other people who have sent money to this account and never received the prints they were promised. I have received DM's from other scam victims who want to work together to this scam stopped. This is a dangerous scam because there are plenty of legit small artists who do transactions over Instagram. Anyone could fall for this and April will continue to scam people via Instagram until she is caught and shut down.
