This is a continuation of an employment scam I reported on 7/19/21. Today I received a check in the mail, which is what I was told would happen. I am to take this check for $4,900 that I received today and deposit it into my checking account and take a snapshot of the deposit slip and send it directly to Mr. David Williamson from the company's payments department. Keep in mind that the company I am supposed to be hired by is; Chattem Chemicals inc. out of Chattanooga TN. The guy I have been texting (interviewing manager) is working out of an assistant company and that HR director is Jason Baxter (NOT). He works from a 3 bedroom home in Orlando Florida but the zip code is from South Africa. The Check is drawn from Bank of America out of Charlotte NC and it is absolutely fake. My guess is that they figure my bank will try to accept it. There is no way to catch these [censored] and it brings me great pleasure to assist anyone who questions the legitimacy of this scam. Please do not fall for this! I also received an employment letter with a W-4 to fill out and send to the interviewing manager (Larry Lacey) at [email protected]. This scammer is good and many people will try to cash these checks. They don't stop the act, even when you question the legitimacy of the process. A real employer would just tell you never mind, but they act like it's all a normal day at the office. Do not give personal information, no company will hire you without a personal interaction first.

They tried to scam me today , same process that you went through but I found this article before I sent him any personal information. Larry Lacey & Joshua Rhodes . I was hired today , he said I was gonna get a check sent to me to purchase the software for training , luckily I did more research before I filled out any forms . THEIR SCAMMERS BE CAREFUL
