I attempted to apply for a position that was posted on instagram to "The Bailey Agency". It appears as if the business itself is only promoted on this page but operated by another party. The requirements to submit for the position was to purchase a "Personal Assisting Webinar". I felt as if the offer was a scam but because I knew someone who worked for the actual "Bailey Agency" I went through the process. After purchasing the webinar the hiring coordinator for the position send me a email stating the webinar would be released two weeks later. upon this date I sent out a follow up email to the appropriate party just to ensure it would be something sent over to me and not something I had to click a link for. The date I was supposed to have the webinar emailed was March 15, 2020. I never received anything before or after this date. I sent a message on instagram to the hiring coordinator and his assistant responded "The webinars were sent out using a group email platform so sometimes they go to your spam email or bulk mail". I them mention her that "I did not receive any emails and that I wasn't pleased with the way they conduct business, I would much rather have an update instead of being left in the dark. I would like to be refunded the full amount and not be involved". The assistant then threatens me that she wouldn't like to hire anyone as hostile as me an that her clients do work with anyone like myself. Then mention that she would give my 39.99 back to me because I may need it. Below I will attach all the emails and conversations I have pertaining to this matter.
