I had the displeasure of meeting Jennifer Spivak at a networking event. She referred to herself as a queen no less than a few times in our initial conversation. Going against my better judgment, I hired her. She took money for facebook ads that never got posted. She lied to me saying that the reason they weren't converting was that there was a problem with my offer, but I know the ads were never posted because she is not only self-absorbed, but inept. She forgot to request admin access to my facebook account! She kept the con going so much to the extent that she even filled my offer form with fake leads that were all from the same IP address as the email address she emails from. Even when I told her the jig was up and that I knew what she had done, she sent me a long email blaming me for her failure to perform, similar to the long responses she uses on this page. She told me that if I were to share my experience, she would pretend she didn't recognize my name as being anyone she has ever worked with.

Any products/services related to Jennifer Spivak need to be nuked out of orbit.
Jennifer Spivak is a self-absorbed con artist.

8 months later and I am still so dissapointed in The Ad Girls. I feel confident saying I am typically a good judge of character and business savvy. I feel obligated to divulge an absolutely HORRIBLE experience that kept me awake at night trying to figure out what was going on and how to remedy. Jennifer and Courtney (owners) make very big promises and do NOTHING - 0% follow through on ANYTHING. I wanted to support women owned and a fellow small business but they just give both a horrible rep. They are in it for the money and they proved to be master manipulators. My initial interview was full of smiles, a promised relationship and success from Jennifer (co-owner) and once I signed and paid the extremely high contracted price (80% higher than my current company that IS making me money), I never heard from her again. I was assigned to a brand new account rep who ended up quitting before my contract even ended. I was able to voice concerns in a single zoom call with Courtney (co-owner) and was totally blown off & disregarded. Another new account rep was on the zoom as well and Courtney straight up disconnected him mid-meeting because he was contradicting things left and right. They don't want you to re-sign. Once they receive that fat sign on payment for the 6 month contract, they write you off and they're on to their next victim. The entire experience was so insulting and awful. I now work with Logical Position and they have restored my faith in a third party. They respond quickly, help whenever needed and they are SO much more affordable...with a good ROA! I pray this review helps prevent someone from learning the hard way like I did.

Hi Brooke,

We were pretty surprised to have just discovered this review given the terms under which we parted nearly a year ago. You are of course entitled your opinion and experience, and we apologize if you ever felt unheard when voicing your concerns. However there are some accusations made and/or implied here that are factually inaccurate, and we'd love to clear those up with you.

1. Our team is made up of some of the best in the industry. The specific account manager we assigned to you had such incredible experience with boutiques (your business model) that the reason she did decide to leave The Ad Girls is because she was offered partial ownership in a previous company she worked for - a marketing agency specializing solely in boutiques. We specifically chose her for your account because of this specialized knowledge and feel confident she provided excellent service during your contract. She also agreed to stay on and manage your account through the completion of your contract so you that did not have to undergo an account manager switch during your contract.

2. We were 100% honest from the beginning that you would not be working directly with the owners, but with our team. (We did however check in with you halfway through your contract as we do with all clients, and you mentioned you were hopeful and excited about the way things were going.)

3. We did average a positive ROAS throughout our time together, however it was absolutely lower than our target. Where you struggled to see an overall positive return was after the agency fee; often scaling is required to make this happen. We were unable to scale your account due to a tracking issue with your merchant/CRM CommentSold. As CommentSold Agency Partners we worked closely with their team to resolve this issue including coordinating multiple calls, following up with their team, and working diligently to support wherever we could, all beyond our normal scope of service and in addition to your normal check-in and strategy calls. Truthfully it was all a bit of a catch 22… we needed to scale to reach true profitability, but we didn’t want to scale until the tracking issue was resolved because we didn’t have the most reliable data to do so. You mention in one of your emails that you didn’t understand the severity of the tracking issue until the end of your contract, and we are more that willing to take full responsibility for that if our team did not communicate that clearly.

4. After this issue was resolved, you were actually averaging a 3.4X ROAS. Because of the positive trajectory here, we did discuss a few different ways in which we could continue the momentum. You requested a 50% discount on your next contract, and while we couldn’t honor that due to our costs, we offered you a 25% discount. You passed on that offer and we parted ways.

5. We absolutely want clients to re-sign! Our best clients have been with us for years (you can hear about their experience here: https://theadgirls.com/ad-girls-reviews/), and and we work diligently to ensure long-term partnerships with all of our clients.

The above are the facts, supported by documented evidence. We are not perfect. We do not have a 100% success rate. Sometimes our team makes a mistake. But we always act in integrity, care deeply about our clients and their businesses, and work to make things right when something doesn’t go according to plan.

-Jennifer & Courtney

They talk a big sales game but in actuality, they do not do anything. The owners are lazy and are always at the pool using their clients money while a junior analyst deals with the client.

They brought 0 value to us and we lost big money with them. They SUCK.

They talked a good game but when I paid them I never got a response back. They ghosted me and stole my money. This is a fake company. DO NOT USE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
