We were pretty surprised to have just discovered this review given the terms under which we parted nearly a year ago. You are of course entitled your opinion and experience, and we apologize if you ever felt unheard when voicing your concerns. However there are some accusations made and/or implied here that are factually inaccurate, and we'd love to clear those up with you.
1. Our team is made up of some of the best in the industry. The specific account manager we assigned to you had such incredible experience with boutiques (your business model) that the reason she did decide to leave The Ad Girls is because she was offered partial ownership in a previous company she worked for - a marketing agency specializing solely in boutiques. We specifically chose her for your account because of this specialized knowledge and feel confident she provided excellent service during your contract. She also agreed to stay on and manage your account through the completion of your contract so you that did not have to undergo an account manager switch during your contract.
2. We were 100% honest from the beginning that you would not be working directly with the owners, but with our team. (We did however check in with you halfway through your contract as we do with all clients, and you mentioned you were hopeful and excited about the way things were going.)
3. We did average a positive ROAS throughout our time together, however it was absolutely lower than our target. Where you struggled to see an overall positive return was after the agency fee; often scaling is required to make this happen. We were unable to scale your account due to a tracking issue with your merchant/CRM CommentSold. As CommentSold Agency Partners we worked closely with their team to resolve this issue including coordinating multiple calls, following up with their team, and working diligently to support wherever we could, all beyond our normal scope of service and in addition to your normal check-in and strategy calls. Truthfully it was all a bit of a catch 22… we needed to scale to reach true profitability, but we didn’t want to scale until the tracking issue was resolved because we didn’t have the most reliable data to do so. You mention in one of your emails that you didn’t understand the severity of the tracking issue until the end of your contract, and we are more that willing to take full responsibility for that if our team did not communicate that clearly.
4. After this issue was resolved, you were actually averaging a 3.4X ROAS. Because of the positive trajectory here, we did discuss a few different ways in which we could continue the momentum. You requested a 50% discount on your next contract, and while we couldn’t honor that due to our costs, we offered you a 25% discount. You passed on that offer and we parted ways.
5. We absolutely want clients to re-sign! Our best clients have been with us for years (you can hear about their experience here: https://theadgirls.com/ad-girls-reviews/), and and we work diligently to ensure long-term partnerships with all of our clients.
The above are the facts, supported by documented evidence. We are not perfect. We do not have a 100% success rate. Sometimes our team makes a mistake. But we always act in integrity, care deeply about our clients and their businesses, and work to make things right when something doesn’t go according to plan.
