I HAD RECEIVED A TEXT FROM SOMEONE ABOUT A ONLINE JOB SO THEY SEND A PERSON EMAIL([email protected]) and he or she did a interview through skype. I ASK CAN THEY DO IT ON ZOOM THE ASSISTED I HAD TO GET SKYPE SO I DID. THEY ASK ME INTERVIEW QUESTIONS LIKE A JOB WOULD DO. SO AFTER IT WAS OVER THEY STATED THEY HAD TO SEND IT TO THE RECRUIT TEAM AND THEY WAS IMPRESS, SO THE NEXT DAY THEY SENT ME A TYPE UP OFFER LETTER WHICH I HAVE PROOF OF STATING PAY AND ALL. AND THEY SAID A CHECK WAS GOING TO BE SENT OUT TO ME AND THEY WAS GONE GIVE ME A TRACKING NUMBER. SO TODAY I RECEIVED THE TRACKING NUMBER AND A CHECK THAT HAS A WHOLE DIFFERENT COMPANY PRINTED ON IT. SO I LET THE SCAMMER KNOW THAT IM AWARE OF IT ALL. THEY NOW SAYING MY OFFER LETTER IS TERMINATED. I FORGOT TO STATE THEY GOT A COPY OF MY LICENSE AND THE OFFER LETTER THAT I HAD TO SIGN AND EMAIL BACK TO THEM.

Received phone call, on cell phone at 11:10 4/19/2017. Without introduction, they asked, "Are you the head of the household". I think they are looking for a "Yes". When I asked who it was, they said it was "The Arc", a local non-profit. When I asked why they wanted to know, she said she needed to ask a question. When I asked what "The Arc" was, she clearly read off of a statement. They are clearly using "The Arc's" name improperly.

typically, when The Arc calls, it is looking to pick up used items. The callers usually indicate who they are, that they represent The Arc and that The Arc will have a truck in the area, the following week.
