Emails from James White for data entry job in Asseco group… initially sent message with james brown name…though i did not notice the name difference…scheduled skype interview…started asking questions via chat when i start to doubt.. checked the email address and there it was [email protected] … guys please always check these details email / name/ communication mode.

I was contacted by text by a person who said his name was Mr. James Brown, a representative of Asseco Group. He asked if I was still interested in a job I apparently applied for.
I asked him to give details on the job description, because I was being slammed with calls from companies I never applied to.
For a moment it sounded very credible. He then started demanding my Skype or Telegraph login, which he said he already knew I had on my device.
I went to the website for the Asseco Group and quickly contacted someone there.
As suspected, no such person or position available. Gave them information and I was told to contact authorities.
I knew almost immediately what was going on, because it happened to me yesterday. I wasn't aware of this type of thing yesterday though. Different company though. GLP Group. Two different people contacted me then. I went through a 2 1/2 interview process and was told after that I was hired. Everything seemed very legit until they gave me a list of equipment I would have to purchase prior to Monday. All of which I already have as someone who works remotely. I was told that they were were sending me a new laptop with the companies system installed. I would have to purchase the required software, that I would of course be reimbursed for on my first check. It was stressed to me that I would have to purchase software prior to shipment of laptop. But I could only purchase their software through their vendor. I asked him if it was so important for me to purchase from his vendor, then why did they not just send laptop with software already installed.
I already know better than to blindly trust anyone and certainly not to send money to people like that.
Keeping him on the chat, allowed me to check out company online and to send them an email as to what is going on.
The only thing they took from me was my time and a legit job. During the 'Scam', I was contacted by a legit company who offered me a position. I turned it down, because I had already accepted a 'Great Position ' with Asseco.
Needless to say, by the time I figured out it was a scam, the other company had already hired someone else.
I would like to know how these people are getting a hold of our resumes. I do not allow for mine to be public. How can we protect ourselves to this kind of thing.

I got a text from Zrseyslaw Seczkowski from Asseco Group company. Saying his talent acquisition team viewed my resume published on West Virginia Health Care Association Job board. We are pleased with your qualifications. Then Mr. Seczkowski goes on to say, we are seeking for workers to work remotely as a Human Resource Manager/Clinical Research Coordinator/Director Development Manager/ Operation Manager/MRI Technologist/ Customer Service/Data Entry/Administrative e Assistant. Mon-Fri Full time 9-5, part time-2pm to 5pm...Do you have a problem working remotely for now? I texted no. Then he texted back to me, The interview will be done remotely via wire, Telegram, (Well, Via and Telegram are VOIP phone systems that charges a fee of $50 for their service if you want to receive a bank wire into your account)-- Seczkowski, asked,"Do you have an account with any of these apps? I said no. I looked up your company to see if I can apply online but to my surprise there is no such job positions that was mentioned above on Asseco's website. So, this is why I am filing a complaint to please ask to be removed from your job list or whatever it is. This is a scam to people who are looking for a real job, but instead they get sales promotions from chickens quaking up false things to steal their goods. Thank you please remove me I am not a chicken and I am not interested in this type of business.

I get a message someone saw my resume on careerbuilder and to contact a John Taylor. I contacted the person and answered the questions. Everything seemed skethcy, weird, like it was all fake but he said it wasn't and maxe me feel assured. But when he called me it was a older middle aged white man. He sounded foreign and from the other hemisphere or something. He then asked for my banking information and also for my bank account password and username to montior the funds. Why don't you just asked for recipet purchase and confirm with the store vendor that I'm purchasing the equipment. You don't have to see into my account that a scam. Do I look like booboo the fool?

I had the same exact experience as Ileggieri the people above and realized at the end it was a scam. I was first contacted from a text message by Mr Davies Taylor (I thought it was a scam then but went through the whole interview process on Wire). The end result is pictured. The email address they use is [email protected] (FAKE). I did send them some of my info but nothing that anyone couldn't already learn through looking at my mail or resume. I did not give them my birthdate or SSN and they did not ask for it. The person who interviewed me on Wire was "Pedro Busquets."

When I realized I had been cheated, I sent the message to this Pedro Busquets.

Please lose my information and DO NOT send me any check or anything.
I will report to Careerbuilder and send to my Lawyer and to the FBI.

"Davis Taylor" phone number +1 (817) 865-1535 and he informed that he lives in Houston/TX. Of course, Davis refused to give me his address.
Pedro Busquets phone by Wire has ID as @pedrobusquets. Please be careful with them. I already sent everything to my lawyer and to the police.

I was received a text message from 413-341-0968 saying they found my resume on careerbuiders.com. exact same as above conversation. See the detailed interviews below.

I had the exact same experience. Was extremely sketchy. I checked online and found your info and I was correct. Thank you!

He offered me a job then wanted to skype to discuss an interview. Just seems sketchy to me

I was contacted via text from a "Mr. Richard Dinovitz, One of the hiring managers of (Asseco Group).
Your posted resume on CareerBuilder has been reviewed and you are qualified for an interview for Data Entry Specialist/Customer Service Manager/Account Manager/Administrative Assistant position. Please reply to this text with(YES I AM INTERESTED) So I can provide you with more details regarding the position.?"

So I said I was interested. "Great, I need you to search and send an invite to your interview manager on wire messenger,
Mr.Alec Workman via (@alecworkman5)
VERIFICATION CODE : XD-1128
for further instructions on your interview."

Like the others. It was not even a phone interview like any other job. Which made it very very sketchy. I played along even tried to negotiate my rate super high to see if he would bite and he did. He said to contact him again and will provide more details. Of course I was HIRED. What gave them away is when I researched the email address they gave me: [email protected] and that you cannot find any of them on LinkedIn.

The domain was registered to a local address in Wyoming. Thanks to Google it was only a matter of time before I can piece them together. These fools even said that they would give a $100 to keep to myself as a bonus. Hahaha.. dont be fooled. Hope this helps!

I just received the check today and called the police department. I’m having this put on the news. Smfh. Corona scams.

Asseco reached out to me because I have my resume on Career Builder. I was first sent a text message by a "recruiter" and prompted to do a skype interview. The skype interview turned out to be through IM. At first I was asked standard questions you would get in an interview. After I was told I was qualified for the job I was told I would have an Apple Laptop sent to me but I had to pay $350.00 for all the programs that I would need. I was told to send money via cryptocurrency (Cash app, venmo, etc). I was told I would be reimbursed once I receive all my materials. At that point I was discouraged because I knew it was a scam.

I received an email telling me I had been secured a position with a company "The Asseco Group" From an Adam Goral. They asked me to verify my address and phone number and said that we'd meet as soon as he returned to the state in two weeks. In the meantime I would be sent assignments and funds to complete them. (So they can drain my bank account when I deposit the money)
