Took out a loan almost 6 years ago. Was contacted by this "attorney" that I owed $2000 and if I didn't pay that day, literally within an hour they would charge me with check fraud because an automatic payment was declined. But they would but me a deal if I paid $500 right then and there and then work out the rest at a later date..the real loan is shown as resolved over a year ago on my credit report...I didn't pay anything but I fell for this years ago too.
