Our family shoppe, The Bird Shoppe is located in Fairfield, Ohio 45014 and owned by family for 20 years. An entity has created an Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/thebirdshoppe/) impersonating our business and "selling" birds worldwide. They have either attempted and/or succeeded in taking consumer money and sending them to our physical location to pick up their live animal. Customers to the fake Instagram page are shopping at this fraudulent site: https://thebirdshoppe.catalog.to/ and purchasing "birds" via QuickSell (https://quicksell.co/). The sites have stolen and are using our logo, physical mailing address, email and photos off of our website, facebook page and customer photos found online. We have been contacted twice already regarding this fraudulent entity. The first contact was a couple that drove several hours to pick up their bird only to arrive at our shoppe and nothing was available to them. We had no knowledge of this purchase and didn't even have that bird available for purchase. We also DO NOT sell birds online nor ship birds. The second was a phone call today, asking about availability of birds at our shoppe and the customer referenced birds in pictures on the fraudulent site. We do not have those birds in shoppe. We do not know what else to do to stop this fraud. We feel terrible for the customers we know about and don't know about who are being scammed by this entity.
