They left an 833-517-1301 number to call back but left no extension but a case number to be referred to each time if there was any questions regarding the claims. Each case number was different the 3 times the “unknown” calls were received however the 833 number was the same.
I called the number that was left and it was an automated system stating “you have reached the DLS (just like that), if you know your party’s extension you can dial it at any time or press 1 to speak with the next available representative.” I pressed 1 as I wasn’t left any extension in any of the 3 voicemails. I had a gentleman answer who sounded similar to the gentleman who left the voicemail. I gave the person all 3 case numbers. He then asked my name and I gave the gentleman my name and he put me on hold for awhile and came back and asked if my last 4 of my SSN were a different number than my last true 4 numbers. I stated no and he apologized and said they had no records located with any of the 3 cases however one did but was for someone else and not me and told me he would delete my phone number out of their system.
Just all seemed odd as they had all my correct info for my address and last four of SSN in the voicemail but when calling the number left they didn’t have anything correct which I didn’t correct for them. I asked the man where he was located and he claimed they were in Cheektowaga NY and didn’t have any website. He stated that they don’t make outbound calls and only the process server makes the call and that if the process server can’t reach us they refer us to call the 833# for more information in reference to the cases.
