This same scam has created multiple fraudulent job listings online for an Office Assistant at CBD Farmhouse. We are working with the local police department to report this and contacting every new website it has appeared online. I mean really, $20 an hour for just a high school degree? After supposedly completing the online form, the scammer will ask you to deposit a $900 check to your bank account. Don't do it because it will let them know your bank account and if you have a good bank, it will lock the account. When something is too good to be true, it is. When in doubt, call the business directly about any job openings.

We are part of this scam, our company has taken over 100 of phone calls a day. The damages of our reputation as a small company. This is so unfair to others as well. I hope we can put a end to this!

I applied on Indeed and received an email about the position that led me to google docs employment form. I received an email confirmation that I got the job and was given a list of things I would be doing for a Dr. Carrie Hoch-Mortlock, which included delivering gifts to the less fortunate. From there I was given an assignment to purchase gift cards for charity with a check they emailed me. I was told there would be a face to face interview after a paid week trial. After purchasing the gift cards they request I send them via email and they would send me my next assignment. They emailed me another check and after confronting them about their legitimacy they quit responding but already had my gift cards. The check they sent me bounced and there’s nothing I could do as I physically purchased the gift cards and sent it to them. I thought I was doing a good thing now. Lesson learned I suppose.
