An email from the Geek Squad for maintenance insurance on a computer. I had this several years ago but do not recall an auto renewal. They emailed an invoice for auto renewal saying that $369 had been paid today and for any issues to call the number provided. This was very formal looking receipt of payment from them. I phoned and they said they could cancel no problem but I needed to get on my computer but it has to be a personal computer. As soon as he started asking me to download an app for my phone I clued in that this wasn't right and I asked them to explain why I need to download the app. At this point they hung up.

The funny thing is... My Dad's name is Mike but we do Not share an email address he doesn't even have a computer to have A Geek Squad account. And this email address is an Old email I no longer really even use.

I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED IN THE PAST,SO I KNOW THIS PEOPLE STILL HAVE MY INFO. WELL I GOT AN EMAIL TODAY,STATING THAT I WILL BE CHARGED $273.00 FROM GREEK SQAD. I HAVE NEVER USED THEM SO WHEN I ASKED ABOUTIT. HE HAD A DEEP ANICENT AND HUNG UP. SO I CALLED AGAIN LATER THEY CHANGED THE VOICE AND I TOLD HIM I WOULD RFEPORT AGAIN. BECAUSE I HAVE REPORTED PEOPLE LIKE THIS ON THE SOCIAL SERVE WEBSITE ALSO.
