Dear GlowCo Customer Service,
I am writing to formally request a full refund for my recent purchases of CalmCarry® devices, Order #***** and Order #*****, totaling $81.20. While your company advertises a 100% satisfaction guarantee, I am deeply disappointed with both the product and the return process outlined in your policy.
Upon using the CalmCarry® device, it produced a strong and painful electric shock, first on my child’s hand and subsequently on my own when I tested it. This safety issue alone is concerning enough for me to seek a full refund without the need to return the product. The fact that such a dangerous reaction occurred is unacceptable, and I no longer feel comfortable using these devices.
Moreover, I am extremely frustrated with the return process. The cost to return the items to Australia would be $63.78, and a 30% restocking fee would further penalize me for returning an unsafe product. The total cost of the return would exceed the purchase price, which is both unreasonable and contradicts the spirit of your satisfaction guarantee. These fees make it virtually impossible to return the product without incurring an undue financial burden.
Given these circumstances, I am requesting a full refund of $81.20 without the requirement to return the product. Additionally, I will be reporting this issue to the Better Business Bureau in the United States, as well as the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), to ensure that both your company and others are held accountable for such unsafe practices.
I trust you will handle this matter promptly and fairly, given the safety issues at stake.
