I researched this company online and contacted them in May 2020 to resolve an issue with my air conditioning. The temperature in my house was well into the 80s and I could not get relief. I contacted this company and I spent $70 for an initial visit just to look at it and tell me what was wrong. Then I was told I had a non repairable leak and needed a new Goodman condenser for $2420. It was installed by Michael and I was told I didn’t pass to get it financed and thus I paid with my credit card. Fast forward almost a year later in April 2021, I run my air conditioner and the temperature is still hot in my house. Basically no cool air is coming out. I go to contact The King Team and both numbers are no longer in service. Then I go online to find their website and it shows the company is no longer in SC and now it has moved to Florida. I then proceed to call the Florida number and a Mike answers the phone and says he’s never heard of that company out of SC and he’s gotten a few calls lately about the company but they aren’t the same. The company has the same exact website, a barely changed logo and the same email and ran by the same Mike. It’s the same company but he skipped town without so much as a word as if the company vanished. I had to go to another HVAC company to let me know that my unit wasn’t even filled up all the way and I had to spend another $300 to get ‘gas’ put back in for it to run properly. I am upset and feel like I got scammed by a man who is no longer in business here.
