I applied for a loan online for $5,000. Then this person contacted me by phone, I don't recall his name. He said he was affiliated with the Lending Club and they are accredited with BBB. Since your credit is so low, we have a program to pay us to put money in your account. Then we take our fee out, which adds another 40 points to your credit. I told him that doesn't sound true. He got mad and said listen to me, this is what you have to do to get the loan. He said to go to Walmart or Walgreens and get a card and put the money from your account on the card and it will raise your credit score, which will allow you to get the loan.
