I began corresponding with Lynn Boxer Family in early June 2021. I had inquired about Abby and was advised that she is still available. I was emailed questions by Lynn Boxer Family and answered those to reflect my ability to have a puppy without any issues. After they received my responses, they advised that they were happy to sell one of their puppies to someone who would love it. They they asked me to provide them with my contact information, address, phone and the closest airport so the puppy could be flown to me in Ohio. As I have never had a puppy shipped to me, I sent them another email clarifying and confirming how they flew puppies to their furever homes. I also inquired about payment and informed them that I was a retired law enforcement officer. After sending that message, I decided to contact AKC to confirm the AKC breeder registration number they had posted on their website. Per AKC, before purchasing any puppy, always ask for either a litter number from the puppy's litter - this will consist of 2 letters followed by 6 digits (AB123456) or ask for the puppy's AKC registration number - this consists of 2 letters followed by 8 digits (AB12345678). With these numbers, you can contact the AKC at 1 (919) 233-9767 and confirm that the breeder is valid as is the puppy. If the breeder will not provide the information, AKC can still use their name and address to look them up in the system. Glad I decided to do my due diligence with this breeder and learned that it was a SCAM! Hope Davtip70 is able to locate them . . . .

This is a scam. They advertise the same puppies that are all 10 weeks old for months and never add or take off the sold ones. They need to be stopped ripping people off. Also you can't ship a dog for $100 and as long as it in a travel crate, that should be ok.

Hello,

Yesterday I purchased a dog from a breeder (The Lynn Boxer Company) online for $500 which included all shipping fees. I went to Zelle from the Citizens App on my phone to make the purchase.

The dog was supposed to be delivered today however I am getting told he needs to come in a specific crate for $995.00.

1. The attached email named "Our Male Boxer Puppy Toby" states the price of the dog along with shipping.

On the first attachment about half way down in blue letters it states the below:

Pet Name : Toby

Breed : Boxer

Sex : Male

Age : 10 Weeks

What's included : Registered/registerable, Current vaccinations, Health

guarantee.* T

*Price : **$400+ $100 (shipping fee for all USA states except the state of Hawaii) Total = $500

2. This morning I receive email attached labeled "DELIVERY NOTIFICATION FOR YOUR MALE BOXER PUPPY TOBY*****[email protected]"

When I track it, the tracking number comes up not found, see attachment labeled tracking.

3. The email labeled “Fwd: Re: THERMAL ELECTRONIC CRATE URGENTLY NEEDED 088 PD****[email protected]”

Tells me I need to pay for the puppy to travel in a special thermal crate that will cost me money that was not mentioned at all.

The Lynn Boxer Family organization tells me that I can rent a thermal crate and I will be refunded the money once the puppy is received. To me that is something that The Lynn Boxer Family should have mentioned up front or included it in the original price of $500.00 which included shipping.

I emailed them asking to resolve this issue and when I called them it went to a generic voicemail with no indication that I was call The Lynn Boxer Family. I wish to file this as fraud and request my money be paid back to me in full.

Please let me know how I can go about getting my money back as soon as possible.
