A salesperson came to my door posing as a representative from The Modern Milkman. He was wearing a badge which looked like it was legitimate. He claimed he was selling some food products. I wanted to help him out since he seemed like he was doing this job to earn a living. Also, I was interested in the idea of having food delivered to my house. After all of the transaction was completed, including the credit card transaction, which I did personally, the salesperson left. But something didn't seem right. So I checked the company website, and I tried to do all the online tasks I was supposed to do to make sure my order would be properly delivered to my front door. I never received my order. Nobody ever picks up from the support call center on the website. The website is fake because I tried it and Google shows that "Your message wasn't delivered to [email protected] because the domain modermilkman.com couldn't be found." A pretty slick scam. Looking very legit. Somebody needs to warn this company, if a real, legitimate one even exists. Or maybe this company is the scam and a front for something more nefarious?
