The solicitors at the beach kept offering free tickets and cash if we would go do a 90 minute presentation at "the plantation". We finally did it after 3-4 people trying to get us to sign up. We were honest and told them we weren't staying in a hotel, but at my wife's parents house in Conway, SC. They said that doesn't matter, and to just go do the presentation and that it would be ok. We went to the presentation and they told us we weren't eligible for the free tickets or cash after about an hour of being there, which wasted a few hours of our vacation, and also made the family mad for that entire day! My kids were very excited to go to the place we were getting the free tickets for, so it was a huge letdown to them. We were duped by this place and their "shady salesman" at the beach!
