I was just scammed yesterday and was told all I need is $6.00 in my account and I would receive $6,589 it was going to take 24hrs so now I'm missing $6.00 out of my account who noses what other information I'm missing so I'm going to The BBB to file a complaint

On a Friday, I got a call, saying I'd been approved for $5,700 for housing. I'm getting out of domestic violence ridden life and seriously need grant funds. A $5.87 charge hit my bank instantly. Given a number to "call on Monday if money not in your (my) account". Well, 844-244-3121, only rings and disconnects. No funds. They got me, and I'm scared my card, my financial self, is at risk. He presented himself as working for Government Grants... Probably illegal to do that too. Not right!

I received a call on Friday from a guy that said I would receive 6200 the next business day...I paid the $5.87, but this is a Scam! The BBB can shut them down at least check out the account that they are using to steal people's money...

From 24504 I received a call from a guy that says I’m receiving a grant from the US government and it’s free of charge and I’ll receive the money same day on 06/02/21 and I have a transaction on my card for. -$5.87 and it was funny because he needed my account information for my card. I’m highly disappointed at this service! And I disabled my card to keep from having this pending transaction on my card! It was a big scam then I had another call from a woman saying the same thing but I was already hip and she hung up on me!

And they never sent me the $5,000 the guy claimed to owe me or the $9,000 from the second call the lady said they was going to send to me.

He said I was getting a grant for school so I thought it was odd he needed my debit card but he said it was to process the transaction so i got scammed and not sure what to expect moving forward but ill handle it if anything else happens and from my research on said company (the resource scout llc they called them a gov grant program) ..apparently hundreds of dollars were taken after the first small transaction occurred on many peoples banking accounts this is awful and they need to be stopped

They called my girlfriend and she didn't have a card that would work for the 3.78 they charged my account but didn't deposit the $4000

I'm in need really bad I'm gonna be without my supplies for my products I make I'm a widow and I lost my only son I don't have anyone. I didn't get my stimulus check be CC ause they sent it to my dead husband that in 2004 they obvious got it right now waiting to see what happens.
Y'all charge my card 19.99 and I didn't get my 3,000 cause it can't be put on detect express card.. I have a card now to use please help me call me me or text me on 2259009247 or email me at [email protected]

They wanted card number. I gave them a number for my card that had only cents on it. They asked if there was $21 on the card, I said no. They said it just needed to have $3.97 on it. I refused to provide any other card number and I hung up. Simultaneously with my phone call I was receiving text and email notifications from my CashApp account stating a transaction for $19.99 from Resource Scout LLC was declined. So these pieces of crap were doing transactions while on the phone with me. I'd like to wrap my fingers around their necks and squeeze a little sense into them. The experience did help me to deeply dislike these scam callers so that I will hopefully start dealing with these types of calls more abruptly. I won't give them even the chance to finish speaking their pitch. I'll hang up a lot sooner than I normally do.

My husband got a call from these people. They were saying that he was a lucky one out of 30 that the government chose to give him a $4,000 no pay back Grant. they needed a credit card or a debit card my husband had neither but he told him I had one. So they called back to get the information from me. I was very skeptical about it but this guy kept over and over and over assuring me it was not a scam giving me all kinds of reasons why it's not a scam. We don't want any information on you all we want is your debit card number we don't even want the 3 digit number on the back of the card this proves that is not a scam. People that are scamming you they want money from you we don't want no money from you all we want is your debit card number and again we don't need the 3 digit number on the back of the card. All the government wants to do is give you this $4,000 and put it in your account within the next 5 to 10 minutes after you give us your debit card number. So after a while I reluctantly finally gave him my card number and this is when he told me me there'd be a $3.87 processing fee. I was told the money would show in 5 to 10 minutes but the bank wouldn't honor it for 24 hours. Never saw $4,000 within the 5 to 10 minutes after agreeing and never at all. I did see the $3.87 come pending on my bank account instantly. My situation played out good. I'm hoping this information will help someone else that gets under these people's scam. Since I was seeing this was a lie from the time I hung up I started googling and reading all the bad reviews on ones having funds taking out for no reason from this company Resource Scout. They called on a Friday 18th and it was at 7 p.m. and the pending charges was to come out of my account on the 20th. In that time frame I put a freeze on my debit card. I'm guessing since I put the freeze on my card within 5 hours of the transaction my bank didn't honor the $3.87. on Monday morning I went to the bank and changed my debit card. My belief is this $3.87 give these people permission to take out all the other money's that they request.

The resource scout LLC pleasant grovus called me several times saying I was approved for a government grant. According to the representative the money would be available on my card by midnight. Without giving them my information or permission they withdrew $20. I never received the money. Be aware of these scammers!

A lady named Mary Morris called me on 4/27/2020 and told me I qualified for a $5,000 government grant (which was something I was looking in to) and that I didn't have to pay it back. She knew my name and the city I live in, so, I thought it was legit. She asked if I wanted a check mailed or direct deposit. I said direct deposit, and proceeded to give her my address and card number (pay pal card that had only $5 on it) and was told that, the Bank of America would charge me $3.87 to deposit the money. I was so grateful because my mother and I have a lot of health issues, and I told her that. She told me the money would be deposited to my account on 4/29/2020, which is today. She gave me a conformation # and said, I should receive an email (that I never got) from them to confirm. She also told me that if I don't get the money by this date, to cancel my card, after they had already took the $3.87 out. I think she felt bad about our health issues and that's why she told me that! Thank God I don't have money on the card, cause I'm sure they would've taken more. I just hope no one else gets scammed, because this is a VERY difficult time for ALL of us! Now I have to cancel my card and wait for a new one.
