I literally just received an email from someone named Thomas about an interview that I don’t recall ever applying for. The Scordos Group of OH? Doesn’t ring a bell whatsoever. They made the email sound urgent as well stating they have “limited options this week” for an interview of a Benefits Consultant/Customer Service Advisor position. There’s also an Unsubscribe link in the email which seems phishy so I wont even bother with that. Hope this helps!

I was contacted by Thomas White to schedule an interview for a Benefits Consultant/Customer Service Advisor position, that I don't remember applying for. Please help if this is a scam or not.

I received an email from a hiring manager at Kind HR, whose client is The Scordos Group, asking me to interview urgently bc there were very few spots left! I never applied for that company or the named position. After some digging, others have been scammed by the same group. Obviously, they’re still trying to do it! Just trying to help everyone else!

I keep track of every job I apply at. I do not have in my notes that I have ever applied at The Scordos Group of OH. They contacted me via email to schedule a virtual job interview. They acknowledged my correct phone number in the email.

I searched their company online and found that their company license was canceled by the Secretary of State on July 1, 2010. (Company Number: 1892787)

Contacted by “THE SCORDOS GROUP LLC” and asked if I was looking for a remote job and asked to click a Google docs link to fill it out and schedule an interview. Upon searching the company I became aware its license has been cancelled since 2010. OH Secretary of State filling number 1892787 due to a non sufficient funds check mailed in to pay registration fees, registered agent of the “company” is Nomeke Karvouins.
