Methods of payment are charged in full and refunds are not given unless the customer disputes with their own credit card company or bank. Several customers have received "orders" but the shipment would contain only one item out of several ordered. Several customers have reported different contact numbers that are now disconnected. You cannot get a reply via traditional email, the company will only reply to Facebook messenger or text, yet when you call the number the text is received from, the phone is not in service.
On The Teacher Supply Facebook page one user claims she made contact with the original business owner and the owner said she shut her store down months ago. RED FLAG the owner of the store shut down the store = THIS IS A SCAM
My personal experience, I saw an ad on my Facebook home screen that this company was going out of business and I thought the bracelets were very cute for my child's teachers. I purchased 6 bracelets on March 19, 2019 and was charged immediately. I received a followup email on March 19th with a detailed receipt and note that shipping would be 3-4 weeks because of the small size of the company. After 3-4 weeks I received another email that shipping would be delayed 2-3 more weeks. I followed up with three emails asking about my order and my needing a more precise answer about shipment, but I never got a reply. I then send a Facebook message and received a message back a day later about it being a small business and shipments should go out within the next two weeks. It had been six and a half weeks at this point and I send a final FB message demanding delivery of items by May 8th or cancellation and refund of my purchase. I received a note back that my order would not arrive by May 8th and I have the option to cancel. I said "yes cancel my order and refund please". They replied my order would be cancelled and a refund would be received within 10 days.
Little did they know, days before they replied to my Facebook messages, after I did not get a reply via emails, I started a dispute with my credit card company about this charge. After The Teacher Supply told me they started a refund, I contacted my credit card company and they confirmed that no refund from The Teacher Supply has been initiated, meaning, they did not start the refund process as promised. The standard 7-10 business days for a refund is so the financial institutions have the time to process payments and return funds to your accounts. Meaning the business who is refunding doesn't have 7-10 business days to start the process, they should start the process immediately so financial institutions have time to return funds to your account within the 7-10 business day promise. The refund was promised yesterday so yes, they may file for it today or tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath. I absolutely do not expect them to refund and it will be my credit card company who does the heavy lifting for me to get my money back. The people behind this company should not be allowed to take your money for nothing while customers and financial institutions get to spend their time fighting to get it back.
Unfortunately, the prices seemed too good to be true, and they were. Beware of this company and it is so sad they are preying on teachers who deserve the best.
