Total money lost $50
Type of a scam Online Purchase
4 charges on my credit card adding up to $27 that day
(just says "charge" on my statement, not "pending")
Bank says this money was never actually taken, it is in "pre-authorization stage", which means I cannot dispute it!
No charge on bank card for October
November another $25 "charge" which is not really a charge, "pre-authorization".
While they did not TAKE my money, I had no access to it, either. It is essentially being held hostage by this company.
According to my debit card company, IF Wicca Movement were taking out a recurring monthly charge I may be able to dispute them and stop it but since they skipped October I cannot. Tricky tricky.
I contacted Better Business of Pennsylvania, filed a claim. I also intend to contact the Pennsylvania Attorney General.
I changed my bank card number for about $14.
They are targeting people of the Wiccan religion (and pagans) who use the phrase Blessed Be in their rituals and prayers.
If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is...even a little cheapy $2 bracelet. Don't get suckered. Don't give these people your credit card number.
I just wanted to buy myself a small, simple bithday present. The headaches and nonsense have NOT been worth it.
