This website is likely a Shopify scam. The website itself appears to have been built using a template, and people are purchasing books from them but not receiving anything. They are also using fake phone numbers. I am reporting this website because the phone number they used was actually mine, so I was strangely getting phone calls from people trying to reach this bookstore that I have never heard of before. After some digging, it appears the website was recently slapped together with a domain purchase in July of 2023. One of the people I spoke to was able to report the fraud to their bank and get their money back. Another person was an children's book author that the website was claiming to have pre-sold many copies of their books. Someone else called me recently that ordered a book and wanted to know when they would receive it. I told them what was going on with this website, and to not expect to receive the book since the phone number on the front page of the website was mine.

Now, over Thanksgiving weekend, this fraudulent website appears to have been updated with a new template with incomplete links, and a they have a new phone number on their front page, 1-866-237-8289, that is actually the phone number of a Best Buy in Canada. Be forewarned, and do not order from this website. You will lose your money, never receive your book, expose your personal info, and potentially open up your banking info up to future scammers. This is likely a Shopify scam, where these websites are slapped together to try and scam as much money out of people as they can before disappearing.
