I downloaded a recipe, suddenly there were pop ups freezing my screen saying my computer was compromised. I copied the fake Microsoft (I think it was Microsoft) phone number and got rid of the fake freezing of my computer. I was familiar with this scam and knew how to restore my computer. I then caIled the number to make sure it was a scam. It was. The number was to "fix" my computer. I told them off and hung up. I checked today, the fake lemon pork chop recipe was still there. I have watched shows about scammers and this was classic. Also a friend of mine suffered this scam before we knew about scams and his computer was destroyed.
