I just filed to start my own business (llc) 2 months ago in May. I just received this letter in the mail today, stating that I must go to their website and file my business with the Treasury or I will get penalties up to $10,000 a year from the government. I went to their site, the first flag was it was a .com we address not a .gov site like must real government agency's use, the second flag was I had to pay $299 by credit card to continue to process my "filing".
