The scammer posted an ad on social media for an end of year blowout sale at Boston Scally caps. The site is a mirror image of their actual site and I didn’t notice the URL differences. We got a shipping confirmation that asked us to download an app. We did not do that and are reporting it after researching the transactions.

The company represented themselves as Boston Scally Company using that company’s brand/website/look to offer the boston Scally Company’s products at a deep discount. After placing an order (12/28/24) I received a confirmation email still indicating it was from Boston Scally Company. However the charge on my credit card and follow up email on shipping indicates it was not Boston Scally. I still may receive the product but as of now I have not (1/2/25). I have monitored accounts and at this point I have not been charged beyond the initial order. I will see if I receive the one time order I made and I will monitor for any charges I did not authorize. If the order is not received or there are additional charges I did not authorize I will file a complaint with ScamPulse.com and FTC and notify my bank.
