I ordered a pair of hiking boots for $49.24 including $9.56 for shipping with no tax for a total of $62.15. It came through a company fancy trend.com. It stated: Vintage Buttery-Soft Waterproof Wool Lining Boots(buy 2 free shipping) Black 8.5 Wide Fit. I don't know what the boots are made of but you could easily cut it with any tool. The lining is not wool but feels like kind of batting. The bottoms look like they've been roughly cut from a machine; they are not runner but some other unknown material. They are not wide fit. The tops are so narrow you can barely get your feet in and when you do, it feels like you are scrunching cheap cardboard at the heel. I could not imagine these could repel any kind of weather. They look like they would leek right away. I wrote to them that they were unacceptable so they told me to keep the merchandise as it was too difficult to return to them and that I would be reimbursed 20%. I said no. They said: "Hi. If you want to return the product, you need to bear the return of transportation. Therefore, we are willing to refund 30 % of the total amount of goods, and you can retain the goods." Once again I declined and then they replied, "Thank you for your order and support to us. We deeply regret that you are not satisfied with our products. Don't worry. You can return the product to us and we will refund the full amount. Return address:1st Floor, Building A16, Fuqiao Third Industrial Zone, Fuhai Street, Baoan District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province Postcode:518100 Recipient:BJT Must be returned according to the address we provide.Please consult the post office about the return fee. It is recommended that you choose postal package instead of FedEx) Please note that you need to provide us with the return tracking number after sending the package. We will check your package with the tracking number you provided and refund you after receiving the package. Otherwise, we will not be able to refund. They make this very convoluted therefore I agreed to take the 30% and keep the boots although they will be thrown out. They replied. "Dear Customer, if you don't want to pay the return shipping fee, we think that the partial refund is a better way. Do you accept we can offer you a partial refund (30% refund-Item price) and you don't need to return the package? Best wish." I said I would begrudgingly accept the 30% however said that they should at least offer 50%. The following day they said, Hello. We will refund you 50% of the order amount, which is US$21.5. In the meantime, you can still keep the product. please confirm." I did confirm and accepted. The following day they sent a refund of $11.76. I wrote them back saying they reneged and then they sent this, "Hi. The address is as follows: Address:1st Floor, Building A16, Fuqiao Third Industrial Zone, Fuhai Street, Baoan District ZIP code:518100 City:Shenzhen Province:Guangdong Country:China ."

I believe they are trying to wear me down and unfortunately I'm not sure what else to do. I had both the item number and the tracking number, both sent to them as well as a photo of the item. They asked for these from the onset and then the game began. I'm not sure what next steps might be. Obviously it's the principle of the matter. They represent so many other unethical companies.
