These people put up an application on LinkedIn for “Mystery Shoppers”. I applied and they emailed me asking if I had specific stores in my location. They asked for name and number to continue to tell me more. They then texted me asking me for my credit card number to send me money to begin my first assignment. I gave them a card number to a card I hardly use. They then sent me $1000 from PNC bank which was then canceled. They asked me to secretly shop in Target to purchase some Apple gift cards. The website looks ok but I began to be able to tell it was fake.
