I recently ordered 2-8 inch squishmallows from thesquishmallows.com website on December 19, 2023. I have not heard one word from the seller. I thought because of the holidays I would give it more time. When the middle of last week came and I realized that there could be a problem I contacted them through their website www.the squishmallows.com with no response. The physical address that they give is 2505 Walker Lane, Nashville, TN 37207. I looked this up and it is a vacant lot. Now it has me wondering if this is even an legitimate company. This is why I am contacting you.

Tried to buy a squishmallow for Christmas gift. Purchased through PayPal- never heard from them again. Tried to email and filled out contact form. Email bounced and never heard back from contact form. No phone number given.

Site advertises Squishmallows. Accepts Paypal but then creates an order for a daily autodeduct of the amount of purchase. Tgey dont send a receipt or invoice. Luckily, the transaction screen is peculiar once the order is placed. There is no phone contact and they don't respomd to email. Had I not checked Paypal, I would not have known there was a daily autodeduction set up. I cancelled payment but lost the original deduction and Paypal won't reimburse my dispute, but I am going to followup. I never received any items or communication from the seller. Website is a scam and should be shut down.

I gave name, address, phone #, email, and all credit card information in order to make purchase. Although the site claims to accept credit cards, when finalizing purchase, it's as though you must accept PayPal in order to proceed......And keeps circling so that I have no idea if the transaction has occurred. Shortly after, on the same day, I received a text, which I didn't open, that was asking me to verify if a debit had been made from a bank for around $1200. I contacted my credit card company who said there was nothing suspicious on my account, and that it was likely a scam. I have requested info from the "contact" submission form of the company 3 times, but have received no response. There was NO PHONE # or EMAIL provided....so the ones I listed for them are fiction (only in order to proceed with this form). I am concerned that their website is designed to extract info for the purpose of fraudulently extracting monies.

I tried to purchase two Squishmallows plushes on this site. When trying to check out, I was taken to a PayPal site. I was charged for a subscription (as opposed to a single purchase), and after charging I saw that the retailer listed was Galley & Garden instead of The Squishmallows, which was the website I purchased from. I never received any confirmation email from the retailer. I did recieve notice from PayPal a few hours later that the retailer canceled the subscription. I suspect either the website is a scam or the checkout has been targeted by scammers to collect PayPal payments. I received notice from PayPal that they will refund the charges, so I’m not out any money, just time.
