pretend to be interested in buying your car

they do have a site, it might be legit but their way to go about getting customers is wrong. contacted twice so far after posting my truck on line. first so called "buyer" 365-650-4241 texts asking all the right questions and gets pushy to use a report from thevinexperts. next day i get a text from 403-907-2482 asking similar questions and when i ask are you from thevinexperts, i get no response. not a good way to get business.

Not a scam

This isn't a scam. I've used this website several times. The only issue I have is that the website only offers 4 packages. For instance, It only have packages for a single report, two reports, five reports & ten reports. I need a package that provides a large number of reports, such as 30-40 reports. So, I hope they add more packages.

Decent site, Good rates

This website was recommended to me by a friend. He said they offer a report at a lower cost. At first, I was worried they were going to steal my information or money, so I played it safe. I ordered the report from my girlfriend’s card which only had 30 bucks in it. I didn’t receive the report immediately, so I assumed my money had been stolen. Well, I was wrong. They sent me the report via email within a few minutes and apologized for the delay. I’ve used this site several times since then, without any worry, and the report has never been late.

Scam, Phishing, False Representation

Vinexperts scammers pretend to be a buyer of your car on Craigslist. They keep asking you multiple questions about your vehicle and when it comes to asking about previous accidents, they suggest using vinexperts to get a report for $23. In my opinion, if the site is good and provides excellent service, you don't need to have site agents try to impersonate buyers on Craigslist in order to sell reports. Avoid these scammers and use tried and tested Carfax if you need an accurate report for your vehicle history

Don't know about any site agents, but I actually used this site on my friends recommendation. Here in Canada it cost around 30 bucks. They sent me the report on my email in a few mins. So I don't believe it a scam.

A cheaper and better way to provide every bit of detail without talking much to the customer. This website is very friendly, I had put the vin number wrong so they had emailed me to re confirm my vin. Cooperative and convenient!

I almost bought into it. They were not pushy. I was selling a car on Craigslist, got contacted by an interested person. They asked for a VIN report.

I received the following text:

“u can get a cheaper report from thevinexperts .com cost about $25. You’ll save $10. they r a government registered website and recommended by a lawyer friend as well.”

thevinexperts is not a government registered website.
