We do not know how the scammer obtained our credit card information. THEWORF.NET/THEWORF.ME was able to charge us $49.95 per month for 7 months for its "customer service subscription" before we found it and got the credit card issuer involved to stop it. We have yet to get our $349.65 in charges refunded.

This company is known online, we have since learned, for highly deceptive advertising tactics and impossible refund practices; even its location and corporate registration and licensing have proven well hidden and so unavailable to consumers. Spreading the word here and complaining to the FTC and IC3 appear to be the only alternatives as this is clearly a scam.
