I received an e-mail stating that I was selected for an interview for a job I applied for on line. They "interviewed" me via Google Hangouts, said I have the job and sent me a check to purchase the needed equipment. I got suspicious when I received the check and they had not asked me for my I-9 information. I went to the bank and they confirmed that it was a scam. The bank will credit my account and they plan to send the check to their fraud department once the check is returned for NSF. The branch manager stated that she will reverse the bank fees for me once they are charged to my account.

I am also attempting to reach the organization that they used in the scam. What do you need for me to do? I have all of the e-mails, the FedEx envelope, the PDF of the delivery, the check. I researched that they transposed the letters of another companies address they used from Charlotte to "ship" the envelope when in fact that envelope was shipped from FL.
