This “company” promoted a job opportunity for a data entry clerk assistant on LinkedIn, I applied for the position since everything seem to check out at the time and the pay was suitable. A recruiter by the name of “justin cannon” reached out to me via email and offered an interview with me on an app called “ring central” I presumed this is where we video chat for the “interview”. But instead the “interview” was instant messaging on the app. Then after the completion of the interview and assessment the following day I receive an email that I was hired for the position. Later in that same day they requested I complete a 200 word assessment on Microsoft word that I would be rewarded for. Once I completed the assessment and sent it back via email, “Justin cannon” the recruiter explained to me that they would need my banking information to submit the electronic check. I said no I prefer a paper check because I was skeptical of the company from that moment. Since then I haven’t heard from anyone and all contact seems to have ended. I wasted three days completing work and submitting information to this company thinking it was a legitimate job. I want to save others from falling into the trap of this scam. I will attach a paperwork that they requested I signed for new hires.
