Thank you! I feel embarrassed and vulnerable because I sent 4 gifts to people (total for $12). However, something felt off. You’re told to share an inspirational message and ask people to post their Amazon wish list. You also list your wish list in the post. But it sets up this expectation you’ll buy gifts for all these people and they all compliment you.

No one bought me anything. I feel used. If you’re ‘thinking of someone’ you don’t expect them to buy you something and people shouldn’t be buying complete strangers stuff.

I feel it preys on people who are kind or lonely. I reported it to Facebook but they didn’t take the group down.

Also, the group started March 20, 2020 right at the height of the COVID-19. They seem to be playing on people’s sympathy and loneliness. This is especially concerning for me so many people are isolated.
