I contacted scammer online via Facebook Marketplace. I responded to an ad for a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator. Arrange a time and place for delivery. Scammer delivered the broken product. Instructed not to turn on Refrigerator for 2 hours. I followed the scammer instructions and when plugged in the product was defective. It had a defective ice maker that caused water to flood the floor. Contacted scammer again and was promised a replacement within a few days. The scammer made several promises to make it right. Eventually he stopped responding. Purchased Refrigerator on 6/7/2024 with a 90 day warranty. Refrigerator started with a busted waterline and completely stopped cooling by 6/17/2024. No response from the scammer as of 6/26/24
