MY nephew was contacted by this number 626-213-0507 and given a reference #571528 stating that they had a package needing to be delivered and couldn't get a hold of me. I called the number as I was expecting several packages for Christmas. I was then told that there was a summons for me to go to court for an old past due account that was almost $5,000.00 and I would be charged with fraud and others charges. I was told that I could pay it off now or in increments of $499.00 a month. I was given an alternative of paying $2,000.00 with a credit card I had just received with 2,000.00+ balance. She new the credit card company she stated from my credit report. I was at work and caught me off guard. I figured it was legit because she knew that information and so Thompson & Markowitz attorneys scammed me for the $2,000.00 as later I looked them up and found them on this site. I am afraid that my Identity could be at jeopardy as they also had my SS#, DOB, Addresses ignorant me I confirmed it. I did contact my credit card company and was told that I had to call the bank and try to reverse it (First Financial Bank) 562-544-0807. I called and no answer ,went to voice mail, no bank or business message just a generic one. I called my credit card company again and was told I have to wait till the charges are posted to file a complaint, I could not stop payment. And so here I am... I did contact the credit buraeus to make them aware.

These people use illegal tactics, like calling relatives and "spoofing" my local polices number on my phone. Once we called them on this they hung up and blocked all their numbers (about 12). They are hunting for debts for a company that no longer exists and is well past the statute of limitations. Their company is only 8 months old and already there are 2 lawsuits against these jerks. I suspect they change company name once a year. I have yet to receive anything in the mail (they said they sent something). If I owe this debt from 20 years ago, I want to see some paperwork.

They claimed I owed money for a past credit card that was not showing owed on my credit and if I didn't pay they would go to litigation court. Then I paid them 1,471.00 Via Visa Debit card payment after a friend told me they thought I was being scammed they kept calling and harassing me at my work phone number and on my cell phone I had to block them at both. even after I said to send me proof of this dept that I have never received in the mail.
