Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
There is a number listed to call, stating all of the correct things, including that the call may be monitored or recorded and the email listed protections. I called the number and a message stated to ple[censored]d as the phone number is connected to the account. I had used a business phone which would not have been connected to anything. I waited until I was "transferred to the first available representative". I was concerned that someone may have somehow used my information. When I got a "representative", I stated that I received an email that must have been an error. They asked for my name, which I provided. They then asked for my birthdate and I said I did not want to provide it, as I believe this is an error and my name should be sufficient to look up the information. He stated that there are several people with my name, so he needed my date of birth to verify. I stated that I would be the only person with this name and he hung up.
