They posted a job listing on Indeed. I applied for it and then I was contacted the next day through Indeed's message board to email Jack Francis with my cell phone number. I was texted then from another number giving Jack's cell number as well. Meanwhile I got an email from Jack asking for past employer history which seemed normal. I noticed the texting and email had very poor grammar and formatting. In another email/texts, I felt pressured to hurry to respond. Then in a very strange way I was told I had the job and to email a lady with EDD for the Employment Verification Process and to get the offer letter. I did find this odd, but since it was remote and based in California, I went along with it. It was through this process over the next few days and texting with the EDD lady I gave away all my personal information to get hired. I went through this long process of proving to them I am who I am, only to never heard back from them.
