A NFT (non-fungible tokens) buyer contacted me on Twitter wanting to buy my photographs. He sent me to Tick Walls NFTs to have specific images turned into NFTs. That process cost me $650.00. The buyer wanted me to make more NFTs but I didn't and don't have the money to make anymore NFTs without some sort of payout. Tick Walls requires a 10% fee to withdrawal your ETH I have earned on their site. This was my first experience in this area and since my buyer wanted more he put up the money to transfer 11.42 ETH from my Tickwalls to my external wallet (crypto.com). Tickwalls walked me through the process, one step at a time and said everything worked and I should have my ETH in my external wallet within 24 hours. That didn't happen. I was sent on a wild goose chase trying to find my money by Tickwalls. After my buyer paid them and the transaction was reported to be a success and then failed, Tickwalls still took the 10% off the top of the 11.42 ETH. After some time passed, like magic my ETH showed back up in my Tick Walls wallet. Now the total ETH of 16.56 is available in my Tickwalls wallet and I've been told it is ready to transfer once again. However they claim my buyer and myself lost the 10% fee previously paid for the failed transaction. The reason for the increase from 11.42 ETH to 16.56 ETH is because my NFTs keep selling. Both my buyer and myself have lost money so far.
