The website indicates it was the Lyric Theater in Stuart Fl. and is selling tickets with a extremely higher price than indicated on their listings and does not indicate what the charges beyond what was advertised. I believe this is a scalping set up. I did find the correct site for the venue and confirmed they do not represent them.

Loss of $564.00 on Visa charge for overpriced 2 tickets through Center for the Arts, Grass Valley, CA; Visa card number also stolen and my name on the card and possibly mailing address. In finalizing ticket purchase through PayPal for the 2 tickets, the dollar amount was not shown until after the payment was given. The 2 tickets should have cost a total of $180.00 + tax--information which was sent with confirmation of purchase. I contacted Center for the Arts who said they are not responsible for the outside vendor. I called Visa and cancelled the card; Visa will investigate. I need to contact PayPal and many vendors I pay automatically through PayPal every month.

I purchased 1 ticket through TicketSales.com for the above game, and they sent me links to access the ticket that were broken. When I chatted with their rep she sent me to other sites that wouldn't load and were broken. When I requested a refund she said no and made some excuser. Out 40 bucks, no ticket.

Paid for tickets for an Indiana game in Indianapolis. The front booth office told me the tickets I had purchased are not actual tickets to the Indians game and that I had been scammed. I tried to contact them via the email they sent me and tried to download a code via the link they sent me in the email. All it did was take me to my pro.com and wanted me to create a separate third-party account. I never gave them my additional information onlyticketsales.com and then I reached out to the customer service. He told me they couldn’t help me and lied to me about the transfer of my tickets and was not willing to refund my money. I was never giving Indian tickets and I was told that they were a fake site and then found out for myself and none of the buttons or email that they sent me actually worked and they are fake site.

In searching for tickets to a local baseball game, ticketsales.com site showed very limited tickets available. As they appeared to be a reseller, I assumed (my bad) the game was sold out. Their site offered tickets for $45 per seat -- I purchased 7 for my son, his friends, and myself for the kids spring break. I did not see at checkout that charge for the tickets was actually $65 per seat (another my bad).

I was searching for parking for the games 2 days later, I located the actual ticket sales for the stadium event. Plenty of tickets at $35 per seat including tax and fees. Out $210 for tickets because of my haste, which should have been $245. So, beware, read the fine print, check sites for reviews (many bad reviews), check cost at checkout. The e-tickets that were transfered to me are showing on my account at the stadium ticket sales site, so I assume we will be getting into the game (hoping).

I was on a local site ordering tickets it appeared to be correct site. I search tickets price said 84.00 which was correct I proceeded to enter my card information and hit confirm and Bam I got a receipt saying 179.00 so I immediately called explained this must be an error for one I never went to your site. They said oh well you pushed confirm no refunds! I said I’m it’s illegal to not disclose the fees upfront and again they don’t care. I’m disputing the charges but I also am going to see what a lawyer can do to help me with the fact it’s not just the money they’re screwing many innocent people out of hard earned money!

did a google search of a casino in our area for event tickets. The first one that came up was for events at the casino i was looking for and clicked on it. This brought me to a supposedly trusted web site (Ticketsales.com) to purchase tickets. I was purchasing tickets for my daughter and after looking at the price they were charging ($100) i asked her if she still wanted them, of course she said yes, so all together it was $200+$58 for a surcharge.. this was a month ago (Feb)...So now she wanted to know if they emailed the tickets and and i said yes, just now. She also then went onto the Web site of the Casino and went to check on other tickets, she put in the event she was going to see and she got a big surprise, the tickets she purchased were ONLY $30 on there web site...so 2 tics would have cost her on around $70...She was furious to say the least...and of course on Ticketsales.com, you can not cancel your tickets...SO, this .com place charged her $70 more per tic and an hefty surcharge on top of that...when i printed the tickets out for her it states on the bottom $40...DO NOT but tickets from the place. They will rip you off big time..

I was online checking the prices of tickets at a local casino and when I clicked on the event the site sent me over to their website. I was checking the prices and it made me put in my information to see how much it would cost for the full amount a ticket so I put my information in when I click to check the amount for taxes and any fees they charge it automatically paid for the tickets. I called them right away told them I did not authorize for those tickets I did not confirm that purchase, and they told me that it was user error and that their site is easy to use and that I am basically stupid and good luck getting my money back that they had already confirmed my purchase I then found out that it’s possible they used a bot to target people buying tickets from the casino the casino said they don’t use their site to sell tickets and that their website should have not sent me to that site and they are also charging twice the amount for the tickets even though it’s illegal in Washington state to charge more than 10% face value for the tickets it was literally minutes after I got a confirmation saying I had purchased these tickets that I was on the phone with them about this fraudulent payment and when I told them I would dispute it with my bank he said you won’t like the out come but u can do whatever you like he also hung up on me.

I'm writing this review anywhere I possibly can. This is a reseller site for price gouging, for sellers of tickets, and the website itself price gouges their hidden fees. I bought x2 tickets at $83 apiece, there was no indication of the final purchase price before I submitted my order, and then I got a receipt emailed to me for a total of $250! I immediately contacted their customer service and asked to have the sale canceled, while it was still pending, and the customer rep very pleasantly just spat back their vague umbrella policies about how I accepted to pay for any and all fees at the time of purchase. But nowhere do they tell you what those fees actually are or how they are calculated (e.g., % of purchase), AND I paid taxes on those fees. Exploitative, abusive company. I filed a better business bureau complaint and will be filing a dispute with my credit card company. BUYER BEWARE!

When I input the venue and location, this website came up as if it was an authorized ticket seller for the venue. The website does not make it clear that this is a resell site, and that once tickets are purchased through this site (at triple the actual price at the venue, mind you plus Service added Charge of $27.26 fee and Email Delivery $6.95 fee AFTER purchase) they are completely non refundable and non transferrable. As a senior citizen, I feel that this in an intentional misdirection. The website is intentionally unclear and misrepresents itself. I have not received the tickets and have now found out that I won't even get access to them until the day before the concert! Ridiculous. This sort of business should not be allowed.

The musical event I was to attend was canceled. I searched my computer browser for the original box office website that I purchased the promotional discounted tickets, I logged in to my account to exchange them for another date, I found the date and I upgraded to better seating and was willing to pay the difference, after I provided my credit card information, I received an email confirmation from TicketSales.com NOT the box office website I thought I used.

My tickets were never exchanged instead I was charged 4x the amount for new tickets. I contacted TicketSales.com and they said they cannot refund my payment, but rather I have to resell the tickets myself. The face value amount along with the service fees is a ridiculous amount, even if I resell my tickets, I will not get back the full amount that was charged. TicketSales.com is a sneaky, second party website!

I thought I was purchasing tickets for a concert through the actual venue here in Halifax however I ended up being charged $262 US (well over $300 CAD) for something that was only $153 CAD. Nowhere was it made known that it was US$, that would have been a red flag for me and I would not have continued the purchase thus clueing in to the scam! Currently filing dispute with CC company. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

I got online to buy tickets to a Nascar event in Indianapolis on July 31, 2022. This was on July 17. I google tickets for the event, and I think that I am on the venue's site, being that it appears to be very authentic, until I buy the tickets. I didn't realize that I had been redirected to ticketsales.com until after I had purchased the tickets, wondering why there was such a huge service charge on them. I immediately called their customer service line, was run in circles for no less than 15 minutes, and only after I had used the prompt to purchase tickets did I get someone to talk to. I explained to them what had happened and that I just wanted the transaction reversed. They flat out refused, telling me instead to try and resell them. No help whatsoever. So I sent them 2 emails explaining what had happened. Never received a return email. I looked at review sites for this place and found a mountain of bad reviews, more than I could count. Many of the complaints were that people believed they were on the venue site (what happened to me) and did not realize they had be redirected to ticketsales.com, and thus ended up being price gouged for tickets that cost far less on the actual venue's site. The site will act as if tickets are in short supply and that what is on there is all that is left. Many said they received the wrong tickets, received fraudulent tickets that did not work, got them too late for the show, or didn't get them at all. My email summary does not even list my seat numbers, only the section and row, even though they are reserved seats. This is unacceptable. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, who gave this company an "F" rating for the number of complaints received and for the company's failure to reply to many of the complaints. I have no faith in this business and don't know how they are even permitted to operate given their level of deception and complete disregard for the people who purchase tickets from them, to their completely unreasonable no refund under any circumstances policy. This place needs to be shut down.

I bought tickets to a Nascar race for July 31 on July 17. I didn't even realize that I was redirected to this site. I thought I was on the actual vendor's site since that is what I Googled. I bought 3 tickets, then realized after I had purchased them that it was on a resale site, which I would have NEVER done had I known what site I was on. I immediately called them, and after being run around in circles for 15 minutes, I finally was able to talk to someone, but only after I used the prompt to purchase tickets. Otherwise, they don't want to talk to you once they get your money. When I explained that I had just mistakenly bought tickets there, and I just want the transaction reversed, they just shut you down and refuse to work with you. Period. No customer service at all, not friendly, very short, if not rude. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint with them. I looked at review sites and found more horrible reviews of this business than I could read. And they all were for the same things: people being deceived into thinking they were on the vendor site (it must intercept your search and take you directly to their site, and they act as if the tickets are very limited and you better get them right now) when in fact you are on their scalper site, which is unethical. Also tons of stories about people receiving their tickets late, receiving the wrong tickets, getting fake tickets that didn't work, or not getting them at all, and NEVER getting an explanation or a refund without reporting them to someone who can help them. My ticket summary I was emailed did not even list my seat numbers, just the section and row, even though they are reserved seats. I am going to send them back if they do even send them to me, as I have told them in 2 emails ( which went unanswered) and on the phone that I did not want the tickets. I have no faith or confidence in this company. They are basically a scam site and should not even be permitted to operate considering the way they do business. I contacted the credit card company I used for the purchase and filed a dispute and explained all the bad reviews to them, etc. Do not use this site EVER. The prices are massively inflated and the entire site is deceptive. They are a joke of a company. They need to be shut down.

I thought that I had purchased my two $40 tickets through the AXS website only to have been charged over $200 in total through ticketsales.com. They should be out of business - complete scam and fraud artists. Don’t use this site!

I purchased two event tickets on TicketSales.com for a Trevor Noah show in Bozeman at the Brickbreeden Fieldhouse on April 29, 2022. I recently received an email that this show is now rescheduled for April 28, 2023. This looks like a complete scam as scheduling something 14 months out without issuing a refund is absurd. In addition, if you look at the dates listed it shows; rescheduled from 4/25/2020, 4/24/2021, 4/29/2022 and now 4/28/2023. Covid is no longer an issue with venues.

Bought tickets to an event that was cancelled. They offered a voucher for another event as they would not refund the money. When an attempt was made to use the voucher they ran a charge for the new event on the same credit card.

I purchased two sets of Broadway musical tickets through ticket sales.com.

I was told I would have my mobile tickets emailed prior to the show. I never

received any email. I called ticketsales.com numerous amounts of times. They

told me they would get in touch with the ticket seller and have him email me the

mobile tickets. After three days on the phone I never received any email. I told the

ticket agency I would have to call my credit card company and report this as a fraud.

They seemed to agree with me, as to say I would never receive my tickets. I really

feel like I was scammed! I will NEVER order tickets from this website again! This was a total purchase that was over $400. Just terrible!

I went on ticketsales.com to get a ticket for a concert on February 15, 2021 and instead I received the receipt for January 13,2021 for a different entertainer. These tickets were over $800 with a $50 insurance fee. Called right away to get the date changed and was told they could not change the date that I was stuck with the wrong entertainer. Wow, terrible service and now seems like I have been forced to see a concert I don't want. This is outright fraud and wrong. I didn't even request a refund just a date change using the insurance I was automatically charged. This company is a scam!
