Type of a scam Online Purchase
When we arrived at the address that was listed on both the ticket and the website, we were faced with a vacant venue.
After, going inside the building and visiting the adjacent coffee shop, we determined that there wasn’t an event happening or even planned to happen there.
Other people, arrived with the same notion that the festival was being held. After speaking with them, we found out that we were on the same page and that they also had trouble with purchasing tickets on a very unreliable site. My only saving grace was that I purchased my ticket through PayPal so I am in the process of getting my refund. But for others that did it through the site, I don’t know how that will turn out.
We did get to contact someone through their Instagram. Unfortunately, their response was very unprofessional with verbiage like “The event is in Nov ??” or “Awwwwww”.
The lack of professionalism also did not sit with me well. It only confirmed that this whole ordeal was a very suspicious one.
