The scam here is about taking advantage of a landlords absence by someone hired to do work. He did minimal work in approximately 1.5 hours and charged greater than $700/hour. When I attempted to ask for a breakdown of the cost of the work done, no materials provided by the person, the response was that he owned $165,000 worth of equipment. I didn't understand the relevance. I requested a breakdown on several occasions. And, did not receive any response.
