I was trying to get a pug and it’s all fake. Continued to use excuses why they couldn’t get me the dog. Liars. Liars liars.

This man claims to be a pug breeder that can ship your puppy. The website is very legit looking and professional, the man will contact you through text message and ask you send $750 for puppy and shipping. When it comes time to ship, he will say your state has special puppy shipping laws that require an extra $850 that is refundable. Do not believe anything he says and he will say you have to wire the money to this shipping company. The man from the shipping company with a very thick middle eastern accent will contact you wanting the additional payment. When refused, the ‘breeder’ says he will refund you your money but will not do so and cut off contact with you.

I say an ad online that led to their website. After some dialogue back and forth, my wife and I get comfortable purchasing a puppy through them. They requested payment via PayPal as “friends/family” (should have been my first red flag, as it’s non-refundable). But I got a “contract” from them guaranteeing refunds if the puppy was ill. So I transferred the money. After waiting 3 days for them to get in touch with me with what flight the dog would be on, I got a phone call from a pet transport company simply called “Pet Transport”. They notified me that they need another $850 for the delivery of the puppy, even though I had asked Timely Pugs if the $150 delivery fee covered everything. The person for the delivery service notified me I had to hurry to western union and transfer the money because the dog has a flight booked in the next 3 hours. After being unable to find anything about the transport service online, I was very concerned. I contacted Timely Pugs and let them know I didn’t appreciate them using an unknown transport service. Never mind the 3 hour notice. Their response was very aggressive, and put the blame on me that I didn’t feel comfortable using their short notice transport company. So I asked for a refund of $600 of the $750 I had paid for the dog, forfeiting the $150 transport fee as per our contract. After them complaining about having to drive roughly an hour to the transport service, I agreed to give them $100 of the $600 for the inconvenience. They agreed and said I’d have the refund in a couple days. They then told me to call the transport service to cancel the pet transport. I called the number provided and the person for the transport service didn’t answer with a “Hello” or even the company name. Just a “yes”. Fast forward 3 days and I started asking about the status of my refund of $500. I kept getting the ‘in a few days’ or ‘by friday’ and ‘by Monday’. They have now stopped responding to my messages.
