I found the web site timetoshade.com when searching online for eyeglass providers. They were reviewed favorably by several sources. I made an order by submitting a prescription and paying for two pairs of eyeglasses, but they never arrived. The payment was debited from my account and soon after, the web site stopped working. All emails have gone unreturned. I reported the fraud to my bank but, incredibly, they claimed that since I could not prove I did not receive merchandise, they could not reimburse me for my loss. This is alarming to me, since a basic diligence effort would reveal the web site in not functional. I am also surprised by the absence of formal complaints, and evidence that this fake merchant is still advertising.
