He had a Private group on Facebook advertising Maine c o o n kittens for adoption. I reached out to him on the page, and he sent me a private message. He said he needed an $800 deposit, $500 of which needed to be paid before receiving the contract, $150 after signing the contract, and the next $150 upon pickup. I Zelle'd the $500 and he emailed a contract. I signed the contract, and he then gave me another number to send $150 to saying it was the vet's office. Stupidly, I sent that as well. Then he informed me I needed to purchased travel insurance for the kitten in the amount of $500, $1000, or $1500 which was "100% refundable". At that point, I refused and asked him to return the $650 already sent. He then blocked me on FB and kicked me out of the private group. I never got my money back.
