We were looking for a a dachshund and stumbled across this website called Timmy Dachshund. They had reasonable prices so we figured why not. My boyfriend got in contact with them and asked for the process and prices; They told him since they were based out of oklahoma there would be a delivery fee and what not. The scammer told my boyfriend that we could get the dog through overnight shipping for $690 so my boyfriend sent the money through Zelle and waited for a confirmation and everything. The scammer then sent my boyfriend an email with the tracking number of the dog along with the name of the company that would be dealing with the delivery. After checking the tracking and everything (which seemed to be a working site) my boyfriend received another email from the dog delivery company trying to scam him into paying $1000 for "crate reservation". The site also looked legit but the scammer was very pushy and very rude. Once he realized what was going on he tried getting his money back from the original scammer (Timmy Dachshunds) but the person kept telling him that there was no refund to be made because he had already spent the money on trying to get the dog to us.
