Subject: Re: Simba - Berhal Dachshund

Thank you so much for the answers to my questions. God bless you for providing me with this wonderful information. I am willing and happy to make this amazing puppy part of your home. I am providing you with an amazing Video of the puppy below so that you can see how playful the puppy is. The attached file below is a Video of the puppy. I would also like to know how soon you can make the payment so that I can start processing everything required for shipping.

I would accept payment via Zelle. You can set up a Zelle as it's a fast, safe and easy way to send money to friends and family.Let me know once you set up an account, so that I can provide my details for payment.

If you are willing to drive for pick up, then I require a $500 refundable deposit to hold the puppy. I cannot hold a puppy without a deposit being made. Your remaining balance is due upon pick up at my house If you would rather meet us in person to pick up the puppy. As soon as I receive your deposit on the puppy, I will take the puppy offline and hold the puppy for you, until you come over for pickup.

If you want me to ship the puppy, which is the best option since we are miles apart, I require a full $885, and we will ship the puppy to you. We cannot ship a puppy without full payment.

My address is: 914 Chester St, Columbia, SC 29201.
Let me know if you are willing to come over for pick up or if I should ship the puppy to you.

Thanks
THIS MAN IS A THEIF! He made promises and scanned me, just like the others. There is no Simba, there are no puppies.

This is the same scam and new name. All the experience above happened and they got $500.00. The only difference is that they would never answer the phone. The new name was established in January of 2022 so maybe this will move them to establish yet another site. My only message to them is: "Vengeance is mine and recompense, for the time when their foot shall slip; for the day of their calamity is at hand and their doom comes swiftly" Deuteronomy 32:35 I am pretty sure the Lord will have more for them than I can imagine.

So, we paid $800 via Zelle to get a FT Bernedoodle. Then the guy with heavy accent said he needed $1,130 via Zelle only for the crate with a 95% refund via Cash or Check only once the dog arrives next day air. It’s fishy that they only take Zelle, but thought we are in the new age of quick bank transfers and went ahead and sent the money.

Then I saw this website and recent scams. So we decided to call back and confront him. He got upset and immediately got defensive and talking over me then hung up on me.

Well, my wife is devastated because it was suppose to be a disability support dog and we lost $2,000. It’s a lessons learned. I was too busy at work and my wife was super excited for the dog that she did minimal research because the websites looked legitimate until I came home and did further digging.

Please please do not fall for this scam. They have two websites:

https://dachbellybernedoodle.com/
https://tinybellbernedoodle.com/

Their websites were created in 2021 and the Facebook page had minimal footprint. I should have known that when no phone numbers associated, it looks fishy.

This is the Zelle email they requested us to send the money:

[email protected]

This is the phone number we called 8032267691. Which is the same as one of the reviewer’s on here.

Lastly, this is the shipping company they claimed they used:

Did a search for mini bernedoodles and found the Tiny Bell Bernedoodles website. The website looked very authentic and credible. I filled out a form to be contacted and I received an email within a few hours. The email sounded legit and they asked specific questions (vetting process). I answered all of the questions and we communicated back and forth via email. I asked if we could FT and he said for privacy reason he would not do so. He only accepted Zelle and was pretty adamant about it. I told him I would not send any money until I at least spoke to him. He eventually called me and it sounded like a long distance call with a lot of echoing. It was very difficult to hear and understand him (had an accent from another country--maybe India or somewhere along there). He said he would ship the puppy (even sent me a video with photos) next day via airlines. I thought that was quick and a bit odd. Thank the Lord that my bank rejected the transfer due to "suspicious activity." When I emailed him, he sent me another Zelle account to send it to. That's when I knew it was a scam. I emailed him and told him my bank is aware of his scam and that I will report him. Never heard back from him after that. Lesson learned!

I contacted Tiny Bell Bernedoodle on line searching for a puppy. The website and information looked authentic. It isn't. I communicated via email with a man named Kurt Wayne (not sure that is his real name) We discussed available puppies, cost, etc. I then, stupidly, purchased two Walmart cards at $250 each and two Vanilla cards at $250 each. I photographed and sent them over to his website. He made up a story about his grandfather dying and he'd have to get back to me. He hasn't. The address he gave is a home where a woman and her boyfriend live and where he is saying the puppies were born and cared for. Not true. The owners even had a woman show up a couple weeks ago to pick up her puppy. Of course they had no idea what she was talking about. I want him stopped. I'm sure there are others whom he has scammed. I want my money back - doubtful I will get it.

Similar puppy sale scam as most of the rest. Found puppy on their website, made contact and they sent pics and video. We paid through ZELLE (big red flag I guess) Then they contacted us to say there would be an additional $1000 deposit for climate controlled crate, they called us, very strong accents and we realized we had been scammed. We said no to the shilling deposit and they told us they wouldn’t ship the puppy. Said we paid for the pup, so we were free to come pick it up. We found an animal advocate in the area who agreed to go get the pup (obviously there is no pup) at which point they stopped communicating completely.
