On March 3, 2023, I seen a wheel and tire company, Tires 4 Less on Instagram. They claimed to have new and used custom wheel and tires at discount prices. I was informed a set of blank 30" gold Azara wheels were for sale for $1300 plus shipping and fees. They said the wheels were a layaway gone bad and were trying to get what was left on the layaway. They could also drill the wheels to fit my vehicle for an additional $380. So, wheels and tires plus shipping plus and having the wheels drilled would be a total of $1985. To lock in that price, I had to send a deposit of $300, with a balance of $1680 due on Wednesday or Thursday March 8 or 9 2023. Friday March 3rd, 2023, I sent a deposit of $300 via Cash App. He emailed me receipt showing the deposit and balance due. Tuesday March 7th, I was contacted via text that if I finished the payment Wednesday March 8th before noon, he would knock off $80 to make the total $1900. On Wednesday March 8th I Cash App the remaining balance of $1600. I was told my shipment would be sent out that afternoon and he would text and email me the information. I contacted him Thursday March 9th for shipping info, he replied he would have it later that evening. Friday March 10th after no response, I tried contacting him to get shipping info, I realized my phone # was blocked. I was also blocked on Instagram; I had a friend try and contact him on Instagram and he responded immediately. When I tried, there no response and he then blocked my friend. I filed a scam report with Cash App on Saturday March 11th. I will file a clam with my bank Monday March 13th, 2023, to see if there is anything I can do to get my money back.
