concerning the sale of our Mayan Palace time share in Mexico on 7/14/2016. I contacted their office at (206) 866-0854 and talked wit Jacob Martin to proceed with selling our Mexico time share. Then, on 8/04/2016 we received
an e-mail from Gary Levine of Title Investors, inc. offering Equity of $19,970.00 for our Mayan, Mexico Time Share.
But, in order to proceed with closing the agreement, we needed to wire $2,996.00 to an account in Mexico for the Federal Mexican Government SAT Tax with the Scotia Bank there. I wired that amount as directed ( I have all the records on this). Now, on 8/31/2016 we received another e-mail request indicating that Mexican state Tax of 15%is now required in the same amount or $2996.00. Also, that the SAT tax from the Mexican Federal Government was returned. I receive a phone call from Gary Levine (supposedly while he was closing time share agreements in Mexico) ? He asked me if I could come up with the additional Mexican State tax? I ,said "No"! According to Gary Levine the Mexican Federal SAT tax was returned. I could not come up with this additional Tax. At this point, I felt I was being "scammed". I would like to receive that return of my wired Mexican Government SAT Tax of $2,996.00 and have this sales agreement and closing cancelled. at this point, It is dubious whether Title Investors, Inc. will ever return my wired money? I may also file a complaint with the Attorney General's office in the state of Washington. I have called to register a complaint with our Pima County, Arizona Sheriff's Department and await to talk to one of their officers.
