I received an envelope, Priority Mail, in the mail. Inside was a check for 2970.00. The bank is Timberland Federal Credit Union. Was to deposit check and go to Wal-Mart and buy gift cards and rate the service, etc. My daughter-in-law was scammed last year, in the same kind of trap. She didn't know it was a scam and lost all her money.

I received a check for $2,970.00 and a note asking me to be a Kroger/Walmart Secret surveyor. It said to cash the check and keep $450.00 for my fee. With the balance I was to purchased 5 Walmart gift cards for $500 each and scratch off the number on the card and send pictures to email address of [email protected]. Also said that I was to keep the cards after sending pictures of the front and back of card because they would be used in my next assignment.
