I initially Googled Tonkinese kittens for adoption on my cell phone. An ad for Tonkinese kittens for sale popped up. I emailed the address on the website ([email protected]) on 6.20.21 requesting information regarding kittens advertised for sale. Maverick William immediately texted me stating which kittens were for still available and stated the cost was $900 per kitten. He sent photos of four kittens which were available. He indicated we could either pick up the kittens in Andover, MA or they can ship their kittens through a premium transportation service. Maverick William and I texted details dozens of times over the next three weeks. I paid $1,800 via a direct transfer on 6.21.21 from my credit union to his bank: Varo Bank, Maverick William, Account Number: 32294316, Routing Number: 124303201, email associated with bank: [email protected].
Mavrick William sent me two adoption documents: a "Health Guarantee and Purchase Contract" and a "Transfer of Ownership" which I signed and returned. Mavrick William then told me a transportation company would contact me and they would send the kittens: Go Pacific Logistic Movers, [email protected], 213.245.2381. They included a link associated with a delivery tracking number and then called me to ask for photos of the front and back of my driver's license. I replied to their email indicating I wasn't comfortable providing my driver's license and requested their manager or company owner call me back. They texted stating that providing my driver's license wasn't required.
Maverick William texted me asking if the transportation company had contacted me. I texted him back stating yes, but that the transportation company requested my driver's license which I was not comfortable providing. I then stated to Maverick William that I was questioning the integrity of the transaction and could he prove to me that this wasn't a scam. Maverick William has never replied to my text and we have not received the kittens we paid for.
